How do I know if my Kyocera phone needs the software update?
Using your phone's Web Browser, go to the Revol Wireless default home page. From there choose "Download Center":
  • If you see content options such as True Tones & Wallpapers
    Your software is up to date and you can purchase content from the Download Center.
  • If the only option you see is Ringbacks
    Your phone requires a software update to purchase content from the Download Center. To update your phone’s software, please visit a Revol Wireless Full Service Center location. This software update will only take minutes. To find your nearest Revol Wireless Full Service Center location, visit our Store Locator or dial *611 from your Revol Wireless phone to speak with a Customer care Representative.

The website is available to help you search and preview content. After you select your phone model, you will see available content for your phone. See below for information on purchasing content.

How do I download content using my wireless phone's Web Browser?
Using your phone’s Web Browser, go to the Revol Wireless default home page. From there choose "Download Center". Please note that select Revol Wireless phones that use an html web browser will need to type in the following web address into the web browser to access the mobile download catalog: http://downloads.revol.com. Then browse through your phones supported content and categories to find the file you would like to download. Choose "Buy It!" and it will download to your phone. On select phones you may have to apply the content or choose to store the file. If you have any questions or need additional help, please visit a Revol Wireless store or dial *611 to speak with a customer care representative.

How long does it take to get my ringtone, wallpaper, or mobile content?
Once you choose “Buy It!” from your phone’s web browser, your content will be downloaded immediately. Download time will vary based on the file size, the amount of traffic in our network and your phone's current reception. If you experience issues when downloading the content, please visit a Revol Wireless store or dial *611 to speak with a customer care representative.

What is a True Tone?
A True Tone is a premium ringtone that is an actual recording. They are capable of handling real voice recordings as well as voice over music recordings. They are the absolute best sounding ringtones you can put on your phone. Please note: True Tones are only available on certain phone models capable of handling these special formats.

What is a Polyphonic Ringtone and a Monophonic Ringtone?
Monophonic ringtones: These ringtones are simple because the phone can only generate one sound or beep at a time. The tune of the ringtone consists of a series of sequential beeps at different frequencies.
Polyphonic: These ringtones have the ability to generate up to 16 separate sounds at the same time. This makes for music that is much richer and the tunes are typically more recognizable.
