How do I use call blocking?
To start using call blocking, you must first have the call blocking feature enabled on your calling plan. Once you have added this feature to your calling plan, you can manage your call blocking list by:
- *60 SEND – This will activate the call blocking feature. You will hear a tone letting you know the feature is active.
- *60# + 10 digit phone number SEND – This will block the 10-digit phone number you entered.
- *609 SEND – This will block the last phone number that called you. If the phone number was restricted, private or unavailable, it will still block that number.
- *607 SEND – This will request a text message list of your current blocked numbers. You will receive a text message with a list of your current blocked numbers.
- *600 SEND – This will deactivate the call blocking feature. Numbers on your blocked call list will be able to call you until you activate the call blocking feature.
- *600# + 10 digit phone number SEND – This will remove the 10-digit phone number you entered from your blocked call list.
- *60099 SEND – This will remove all phone numbers from your blocked call list.
NOTE: If you call *86 to call your voice mail and then use the *609 code to block the last phone number called, you will not be able to access your voice mail. To validate that your voice mail is blocked use *607 SEND. This will send a list of blocked phone numbers to your phone. If you see your phone number listed dial *600# + your 10 digit phone number SEND, to remove the call block on your voice mail.
